The 2013 Volt was a recent subject of artist Ian Cook, who took a new Chevrolet EV, covered it with UV paint that glows in the dark, and had it shot by photographer Dominic Fraser.  

"The idea was to create an image that was as innovative and mold-breaking as the Chevrolet Volt itself, while at the same time keeping in mind its electric powertrain." Cook said in a statement about his art.¹

Earlier this month, GM officials trademarked the "SS" designation, leaving enthusiasts near and far scratching their heads. After all, the Chevrolet Impala first inaugurated the trim line to the brand back in 1961. Upon hearing about the automaker's latest move, we can't help but wonder, "What will happen with 'SS' now?"

As it turns out, multiple signs point not to a future trim for a current model, but an entirely new Chevy vehicle…
